It is quite obvious that I am a true word fanatic. I am incredibly excited to be writing a blog that investigates contemporary language and etymology! When not writing on my laptop, I can be found in the bargain aisle of the bookstore, paging through etymology books and filling my brain with dinner-worthy stories about the craziest words (what can I say, my friends love language with their food). My love for words has truly influenced my career choice, as I am a freelance writer and creative business consultant. Tea is another one of my passions in life, and is responsible for fueling late night writing sessions and tea blog posts.
